There are uncountable techniques that the identity management systems should consider such as: easiness of use, user privacy and anonymity, security, unique authentication, scalability, fine granularity access control (based on attributes), interoperability, and total cost of ownership.<\/p>\n<p>The VII Workshop on Digital Identity Management (WGID) aims to be\u00a0 a forum for discussion and presentation of techniques from works about the\u00a0 state of the art in technologies related to identity management. Besides that, identifying new research challenges and encouraging discussion among researchers from this field is also goal.<\/p>\n<h2>Topics of Interest<\/h2>\n<p>The authors are invited to submit original works related to digital identity management. The topics of interest include, but not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Federate mobile access and mobile certification<\/li>\n<li>Attribute aggregation<\/li>\n<li>Reference architectures and frameworks for identity management (IdM)<\/li>\n<li>Audit on IdM systems<\/li>\n<li>Single sign On authentication<\/li>\n<li>Device Authentication<\/li>\n<li>Authentication and access control on non-web applications and mobile computing<\/li>\n<li>Digital certification<\/li>\n<li>Attributes certificates<\/li>\n<li>Life cycle of digital identities (provisioning and administration)<\/li>\n<li>Access control based on attributes (ABAC)<\/li>\n<li>Development of applications using A&amp;A infrastructure provided by federations<\/li>\n<li>Scalability of IdM systems<\/li>\n<li>Federations of Academic Networks<\/li>\n<li>Tools for management\/monitoring of federations<\/li>\n<li>Trust management on IdM systems<\/li>\n<li>Attributes management<\/li>\n<li>A&amp;A management on interinstitutional projects<\/li>\n<li>User-centered identity management<\/li>\n<li>Cloud computing and identity management<\/li>\n<li>Electronic government and identity management<\/li>\n<li>Computational grid and identity management<\/li>\n<li>IoT and identity management<\/li>\n<li>Federate identity management<\/li>\n<li>Electronic identity<\/li>\n<li>Interoperability between IdM systems<\/li>\n<li>Level of assurance on IdM<\/li>\n<li>New approaches of authentication and authorization<\/li>\n<li>Privacy and anonymity on IdM systems<\/li>\n<li>Authentication and Authorization protocols<\/li>\n<li>Social networks and IdM systems<\/li>\n<li>Prevention techniques against identity theft and frauds<\/li>\n<li>Usability of identity management technologies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Workshop Format<\/h2>\n<p>The WGID will include the presentation of papers accepted for publication, talks and a discussions panel.<\/p>\n<h2>Instructions to the authors<\/h2>\n<p>Papers can be submitted in two categories:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Full papers:<\/strong> a complete paper should contain in up to 12 pages (including figures, tables, references, appendices and attachments)\u00a0 research work that has been developed to the point of producing\u00a0 original and relevant results that where validated and analyzed.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Extended abstract:<\/strong>\u00a0 an abstract should describe in up to 4 pages (including figures, tables, references, appendices and attachments) an ongoing research work and\/or a computational tool and\/or practical experiments. In the case of a tool, the abstract should contain at least the following information: description and motivation of the problem dealt by the tool; architecture of the solution and description of its functionalities; URL where the tool is available; URL of the documentation and description of a probable demonstration of the tool.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The text should follow the <a href=\"http:\/\/tinyurl.com\/sbc-template-artigos\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SBC standard, available here<\/a>. The works should be submitted in Portuguese or English via the<strong> JEMS system<\/strong> exclusively in PDF format.<\/p>\n<p>After submission to the WGID, the papers and abstracts will be evaluated by a reviewers board in a double-blind peer review (without any identification from authors, reviewers or involved institutions) and the selected works will be organized for presentation and publication at the event proceedings. At least one of the authors of each selected work should register for the SBSeg and be present at the date and time to be announced at the event program to present his work.<\/p>\n<h2>Copyrights<\/h2>\n<p>Together with the final version of the accepted works, a copyrights agreement should be sent to the SBC.
